International Development and Policy Outreach @ UCLA (IDPO) focuses on the intersection of health, education, and international development from a quantitative, policy-driven lens. IDPO specializes in the pursuit of evidence-based policy solutions to ameliorate the challenges facing women, adolescents, and children. We do work related to child health and education and the economics of sex markets, and we have evaluated programs and policies to slow the spread of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections, as well as interventions to reduce intimate partner violence. Research projects span the globe, from Africa to Asia to Latin America.
